Newsletter could do with a better format. Don't people/parents have to sign-up to your newsletter? According to privacy rules that's the way it should be done. Maybe you have another policy in place where you, with consent of parents, sign them up?
In any way maybe it's an idea to have a sign up form on this page as well as a link to past issues?
